Big Dog Home Systems was started in 1999 by Idaho native Brad Barrott.

Big Dog Home systems started as a home security service company, then Big Dog adopted the telecommunications industry products including Satellite TV services, and Big Dog Internet (one of the largest wireless internet products in Eastern Idaho). Whatever the products that Big Dog has carried customer service has been the anchor of Big Dog's success story.

Big Dog Home Systems renewable energy products started in February, 2009. The growing interest from our customer base as well as the new tax incentives state and federal have made it possible for our customers to buy and install a energy saving system cheaper than ever before.
